To be Confirmed...

But word around the campfire is that a few trees (both large and small but all pretty sickly) are about to fall.  If this is indeed the case, tie your shoes a bit tighter - the watch industry has not yet hit bottom.

It has long been opined that there are far too many watch brands out there.  As the owner of my own very, very small brand I have to agree with that analysis.  There is only so much room out there, so many customers, so many watches that can and will be purchased.

As plenty of brand managers and CEOs are finding out - It's a "Dog-Eat-Dog World", and to quote Norm Peterson - they're all wearing "Milk-Bone Boxers".

Editor's Note - for the foreign readers out there who might not be familiar, Milk-Bone is a brand of dog biscuits.
