Two New Versions for the HMS1 Line

I have to say that the folks in the PR department of Arnold & Son are some of the hardest working people out there.  I woke up this morning with this in my "in" box.  So without further ado, allow me to introduce:

Now while it would be easy to jump to the conclusion that Arnold & Son simply knocked together a couple of watches one in white gold, one in rose gold, well that would be a bit short sighted.  Have an actual look at the dials.  Notice a few differences?  The devil, as they say, is in the details.  Arnold & Son have certainly come a long way from the "wilderness years" that troubled them in previous incarnations.  It seems that the horizon is bright, and a clear path has been charted.

Here are the details -

Exclusive Arnold & Son mechanical movement, hand-wound, 21 jewels, diameter 30 mm, thickness 2.7 mm, power reserve 90 h, double barrel, 21,600 vibrations/h

hours, minutes, small seconds at 6 o’clock

Movement decoration:
nickel-silver movement, rhodium treated with Haute Horlogerie finishing: hand-chamfered bridges with polished edges, fine circular graining and Côtes de Genève rayonnantes, blued screws with bevelled and mirror-polished heads

silvery-white guilloché

18-carat rose gold or 18-carat white gold, diameter 40 mm, cambered sapphire with anti-reflective coating on both sides, see-through sapphire case back, water-resistant to 30 m
